Abstract
Described are examples for obtaining data from a single stream output. An indication of requested data from multiple stream sources can be received from an application. A single stream output including one or more output frames can be received from a stream server where at least one output frame includes at least data from each of the multiple stream sources. The requested data can be extracted from the single stream output and provided to the application.
Claims26
A method for obtaining data from a single stream output, comprising:
- receiving, from an application, an indication of requested data from multiple stream sources;
- receiving, from a stream server, the single stream output including one or more output frames with temporally correlated data of the multiple stream sources, where at least one output frame includes a plurality of containers, wherein at least two containers include data from different streams;
- extracting the requested data from multiple containers of the plurality of containers that are determined to correspond to the requested data;
- building a data structure comprising the requested data for providing to the application;
- and
- providing the data structure to the application.
A device for obtaining data from a single stream output, comprising:
- a memory storing one or more parameters or instructions for executing a stream server, wherein the stream server interfaces with a plurality of stream sources;
- and
- at least one processor coupled to the memory, wherein the at least one processor is configured to:
- receive, from an application, an indication of requested data from multiple stream sources;
- receive, from the stream server, the single stream output including one or more output frames with temporally correlated data of the multiple stream sources, where at least one output frame includes a plurality of containers, wherein at least two containers include data from different streams;
- extract the requested data from multiple containers of the plurality of containers that are determined to correspond to the requested data;
- build a data structure comprising the requested data for providing to the application;
- and
- provide the data structure to the application.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium, comprising code executable by one or more processors for obtaining data from a single stream output, the code comprising code for:
- receiving, from an application, an indication of requested data from multiple stream sources;
- receiving, from a stream server, the single stream output including one or more output frames with temporally correlated data of the multiple stream sources, where at least one output frame includes a plurality of containers, wherein two containers include at least data from different streams;
- extracting the requested data from multiple containers of the plurality of containers that are determined to correspond to the requested data;
- building a data structure comprising the requested data for providing to the application;
- and
- providing the data structure to the application.
