A carrier rack mountable to a vehicle, comprising:
- a splined member comprising a plurality of splines disposed along an external surface of the splined member;
- a first arm rotationally coupled about the splined member, wherein the splined member is disposed through an aperture in a proximal end of the first arm;
- and
- a latch coupled to the first arm, wherein the latch is configured to engage the splined member to fix the first arm about the splined member,
- wherein a longitudinal direction of the first arm extends along a longitudinal direction of the vehicle.
A bicycle carrier rack mountable to a vehicle, the bicycle carrier rack comprising:
- a hub comprising an elongate member having one or more teeth disposed on an external surface of the elongate member;
- a first mounting member rotatably coupled to the hub and configured to abut against the vehicle;
- and
- a latch coupled to the first mounting member, the latch having a locked position and an unlocked position,
- wherein the latch is interferingly fitted against one or more teeth of the elongate member in the locked position and positioned away from the elongate member in the unlocked position, and
- wherein a distal end of the first mounting member is configured to contact the vehicle.
A bicycle carrier rack mountable to a vehicle, the bicycle carrier rack comprising:
- an elongate member comprising a plurality of grooves disposed in an external surface of the elongate member;
- a first arm rotatably coupled to the elongate member;
- and
- a latch coupled to the first arm, the latch comprising a first tooth configured to be disposed in the plurality of grooves,
- wherein the first arm is a load arm configured to carry a plurality of bicycles.
