Abstract
The present disclosure provides new attenuated Pepino mosaic viruses useful in the control of plant disease. Compositions for biological control of plant disease are also provided as well as methods for producing Pepino mosaic virus resistant plants.

A Pepino mosaic virus comprising a nucleic acid molecule with a nucleic acid sequence that encodes phenylalanine at the position corresponding to 1052 of SEQ ID NO:2.
A Pepino mosaic virus comprising a nucleic acid molecule with a nucleic acid sequence that encodes arginine at the position corresponding to 868 of SEQ ID NO:2.
