Abstract
A waterproofing system including at least two different layers, one layer being a mounting layer and one other layer being a functional layer, the two layers being directly or indirectly connected to each other over at least parts of their opposing surfaces, wherein the functional layer includes at least a thermoplastic polymer and at least a mineral binder.
Claims18
A waterproofing system comprising:
- at least two different layers, one layer being a mounting layer and one other layer being a functional layer, the two layers being directly or indirectly connected to each other over at least parts of their opposing surface;
- and
- a barrier layer located between the mounting layer and the functional layer, the barrier layer and the mounting layer being connected to each other over at least parts of their opposing surfaces, and the functional layer being integrally connected to the barrier layer over its entire surface,
- wherein the functional layer comprises at least a thermoplastic polymer P1, the thermoplastic polymer P1 being present in an amount in a range of 20 to 85 wt % based on a total weight of the functional layer,
- the mounting layer comprises at least one of an adhesive and a fabric, and
- the barrier layer has a thickness in a range of 0.5 to 5 mm.
