A polymer comprising:

• a monomer unit derived from a compound represented by the following general formula (3),
• where, in the formula (3), n1 pieces of R5 each independently represent a group having a polymerizable unsaturated group, a halogeno group, an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, an alkylthio group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, an amino group that has a substituent or is unsubstituted, a hydroxy group, an aryl group having 6 to 14 carbon atoms, an aryloxy group having 6 to 14 carbon atoms, or an arylalkyl group having 7 to 20 carbon atoms,
• R6 represents a group having an acryloyl group or a methacryloyl group, a hydroxy, group, an alkoxy group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, an amino group that has a substituent or is unsubstituted, or a heterocyclic amino group,
• Ar2 represents a benzene ring, a naphthalene ring, or an anthracene ring,
• n1 represents an integer of 0 to 4 if Ar2 is the benzene ring,
• n1 represents an integer of 0 to 6 if Ar2 is the naphthalene ring,
• n1 represents an integer of 0 to 8 if Ar2 is the anthracene ring,
• R32 and R33 each independently represent an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or an aryl group having 6 to 14 carbon atoms,
• An− represents an anion,
• Ar1 represents a ring structure represented by any of the following general formulae (1-1) to (1-7), and
• * and ** each represent a position of bonding to the ring structure represented by any of the general formulae (1-1) to (1-7),
• where, in the formula (1-1), R1 and R4 each represent a hydrogen atom,
• R2 and R3 each independently represent a group having a polymerizable unsaturated group, an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, or an aryl group having 6 to 14 carbon atoms that has a substituent or is unsubstituted,
• * and ** each represent the same position as the position represented by each of * and ** in the general formula (3),
• R1 and R2 may form an alkylene group having 2 to 4 carbon atoms together, and R3 and R4 may form an alkylene group having 2 to 4 carbon atoms together,
• where, in the formulae (1-2) to (1-7), R31 represents a group having a polymerizable unsaturated group or an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, and * and ** each represent the same position as the position represented by each of * and ** in the general formula (3), and
• at least one of R2, R3, n1 pieces of R5, and R31 is a group having a polymerizable unsaturated group or R6 is a group having an acryloyl group or a methacryloyl group.
