Abstract
A nonwoven fabric has a volume-giving material, in particular fiber balls, down and/or fine feathers, and has a maximum tensile strength, measured according to DIN EN 29 073 at a mass per unit area of 50 g/m2 in at least one direction, of at least 0.3 N/5 cm, in particular of 0.3 N/5 cm to 100 N/5 cm.
Claims17
A nonwoven fabric, comprising:
- a volume-giving material which comprises fiber balls opened by means of spiked rolls or spiked belts, wherein the nonwoven fabric is homogeneous and the volume-giving material is uniformly distributed therein, the volume-giving material comprises mutually interlocking fiber balls, the nonwoven fabric is not needled, and
- the nonwoven fabric has a maximum tensile strength, measured according to DIN EN 29 073, at a mass per unit area of 50 g/m2, in at least one direction of at least 0.3 N/5 cm.
