Communication system, method and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium

A method implemented by a first communication apparatus in a communication system including an ad hoc network, the ad hoc network including the first communication apparatus and a second communication apparatus, the second communication apparatus being coupled to a gateway and being configured to receive data from the first communication apparatus, the method comprising:

• acquiring, by the first communication apparatus, first information regarding communication quality between the first communication apparatus and each of a plurality of adjacent nodes in the ad hoc network;
• obtain a first number by counting, based on the first information, a number of first adjacent nodes from among the plurality of adjacent nodes, each of the first adjacent nodes being a node whose communication quality with the first communication apparatus is equal to or greater than a first value;
• and
• controlling, based on the first number, a transmission amount of the data to be transmitted to the second communication apparatus through the ad hoc network, the control of the transmission amount being configured to
• use a first transmission amount when the first number is equal or greater than a threshold, and
• use a second transmission amount greater than the first transmission amount when the first number is less than the threshold.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program that causes a processor of a first communication apparatus to execute a process, the first communication apparatus being included in an ad hoc network, the process comprising:

• acquiring first information regarding communication quality between the first communication apparatus and each of a plurality of adjacent nodes in the ad hoc network;
• obtain a first number by counting, based on the first information, a number of first adjacent nodes from among the plurality of adjacent nodes, each of the first adjacent nodes being a node whose communication quality with the first communication apparatus is equal to or greater than a first value;
• and
• controlling, based on the first number, a transmission amount of the data to be transmitted to a second communication apparatus through the ad hoc network, the second communication apparatus being coupled to a gateway and configured to receive the data from the first communication apparatus, the control of the transmission amount being configured to
• use a first transmission amount when the first number is equal or greater than a threshold, and
• use a second transmission amount greater than the first transmission amount when the first number is less than the threshold.
