Abstract
In an example embodiment, an application server is run as its own vsystem application, within a vsystem architecture. The application server contains a vRep instance and its own top layer, which is unique to each user. The application server supports exposing programs executed inside of it in many different communication formats.

A system comprising:
- at least one hardware processor;
- and
- a computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one hardware processor, cause the at least one hardware processor to perform operations comprising:
- receiving, via network, a request from a client application to execute a application language-based software program within a virtual system, the request being associated with a user credential;
- and
- forwarding the request to an instance of an application language application server, designed to receive commands in the application language and supporting exposing software programs in a plurality of different communication formats other than the application language, operating within the virtual system, the instance containing a virtual repository and a top layer, the top layer being unique to the user credential, causing the application language application server to execute the software program, wherein the application language application server has a corresponding Kubernetes virtual system application template file.

- receiving, via network, a request from a client application to execute a application language-based software program within a virtual system, the request being associated with a user credential;
- and
- forwarding the request to an instance of an application language application server, designed to receive commands in the application language and supporting exposing software programs in a plurality of different communication formats other than the application language, operating within the virtual system, the instance containing a virtual repository and a top layer, the top layer being unique to the user credential, causing the application language application server to execute the software program, wherein the application language application server has a corresponding Kubernetes virtual system application template rile.
