Reconfigurable caching and backup for devices

A system comprising:

• a computing device comprising a processor and a memory for storing instructions executable by the processor to perform a method;
• a charge distribution unit in communication with the computing device;
• a monitoring component in communication with the plurality of electronic devices to continuously monitor and receive the battery signal data;
• a controller receiving the battery signal data from the monitoring component;
• and
• a plurality of electronic devices that intercommunicate with each other and with the computing device, wherein the method comprises:
• transmitting data signals between the plurality of electronic devices and input into the computing device;
• receiving at least one usage profile from a user indicating perceived usage;
• monitoring, by the monitoring component, actual usage of the plurality of electronic devices by receiving battery signal data output by the plurality of electronic devices;
• determining a difference in actual usage and perceived usage;
• computing a charge-up time based on the usage profile and the actual usage;
• charging each of the plurality of electronic devices, by the charge distribution unit, for the charging time;
• receiving a requested task input into the computing device;
• and
• receiving, by the charge distribution unit, the battery signal data output by the plurality of electronic devices to determine that at least one or more of the electronic devices has enough battery power to accomplish the requested task, and responsive to determining that the at least one or more of the electronic devices does not have enough battery power to accomplish the requested task, the charge distribution unit initiates transfer of battery power thereto for ensuring that the requested task is completed.
