Abstract
A panel assembly has a first panel formed of a wire grid and a second panel formed of a wire grid. The second panel is mechanically affixed to a side of the first panel. Each of the wire grids includes a first grid member, a second grid member, and a barrier layer interposed between the first and second grid members. A connector joins a side of the second panel to a side of the first panel. The barrier layer can be of a permeable or impermeable material. An edge protector can be applied over an edge of the first and second grid members.
Claims15
A panel assembly for bracing and blocking soil comprising:
- a first panel formed of a wire grid;
- a second panel formed of a wire grid, said second panel being mechanically affixed to a side of said first panel, each of the wire grids comprising:
- a first grid member;
- a second grid member;
- and
- a barrier layer interposed between said first and second grid members;
- said first grid member and said second grid member being sealed to each other so as to sandwich said barrier layer therebetween.
