Connector for precast concrete structures

A structural connector for a precast concrete panel, comprising:

• a receiving member having a body with at least one anchor extending from a back surface of said body, said receiving member having a first aperture and a second aperture, and wherein said first aperture has a vertical dimension;
• an attachment member having a first protrusion and a second protrusion, wherein said first protrusion has a retention surface, a top surface adjacent to said retention surface, a bearing surface oriented substantially perpendicular to said retention surface, and an arcuate transition surface extending from said top surface to said bearing surface, wherein a distance between said top surface and said bearing surface is larger than said vertical dimension of said first aperture;
• wherein, in a first position, said attachment member is oriented with respect to said receiving member such that said first aperture receives said first protrusion;
• wherein, in a second position, said attachment member is oriented with respect to said receiving member such that said retention surface contacts said back surface of said body and said second recess receives said second protrusion;
• and
• wherein said receiving member is embedded in a precast concrete panel that has an arcuate void that corresponds to said arcuate transition surface, and wherein said arcuate transition surface is rotated within said arcuate void to reorient said attachment member from said first position to said second position.
