Abstract
Provided are an ink jet image forming method and an ink jet image forming apparatus in which a complex elastic modulus (Pa) before an intermediate image comes into contact with a liquid absorbing member is 4.0 or more in the common logarithm, and a complex elastic modulus (Pa) before the intermediate image comes into contact with the recording medium is 7.0 or less in the common logarithm.
Claims16
An ink jet image forming method comprising:
- a first step of forming a first intermediate image by applying an ink containing at least water and a component that is cured by irradiation with active energy rays to a transfer body;
- a second step of forming a second intermediate image by irradiating the first intermediate image with active energy rays;
- a third step of forming a third intermediate image by bringing a liquid absorbing member into contact with the second intermediate image to remove at least a part of liquid components contained in the second intermediate image;
- and
- a fourth step of forming an image on a recording medium by transferring the third intermediate image from the transfer body to the recording medium,
- wherein a complex elastic modulus (Pa) of the second intermediate image is 4.0 or more in a common logarithm, and a complex elastic modulus (Pa) of the third intermediate image is 7.0 or less in a common logarithm.
