Abstract
A method for identifying a mask for a patient includes: receiving a plurality of images of a patient's face; analyzing the plurality of images to generate a temporal model of the patient's face, determining a mask for the patient using the temporal model of the patient's face, and identifying the mask to the patient.

A method for identifying a mask for a patient, the method comprising:
- receiving a plurality of images of a patient's face;
- analyzing the plurality of images to generate a temporal model of the patient's face, the temporal model including both three dimensional information and time-based variations of the three dimensional information;
- determining a mask for the patient using the temporal model of the patient's face;
- and
- identifying the mask to the patient.

A system for identifying a mask for a patient, the system comprising:
- a processing unit;
- and
- an output device in communication with the processing unit,
- wherein the processing unit is programmed to:
- receive a plurality of images of the patient's face;
- analyze the plurality of images to generate a temporal model of the patient's face, the temporal model including both three dimensional information and time-based variations of the three dimensional information;
- determine a mask for the patient using the temporal model of the patient's face;
- and
- identify the mask to the patient via the output device.
