Endoscope and treatment instrument with lubricant electrodeposition

A treatment instrument comprising:

• an insertion portion configured to be inserted into a subject;
• an electrodeposition portion having an outer surface, the outer surface comprising:
• a conductive portion provided on the insertion portion, the conductive portion being made of a conductive material;
• and
• an insulating portion covering an outer surface of the conductive portion, the insulating portion being exposed to a surface of the insertion portion, and the insulating portion being made of an electrically insulating material;
• a connection portion connected to the conductive portion of the electrodeposition portion to take an electric charge;
• a static electricity generator connected to the connection portion, the static electricity generator being configured to electrodeposit the conductive portion of the electrodeposition portion in a state that the insulating portion electrically insulates the conductive portion and the outside of the treatment instrument, and
• a lubricant containing particles that are electrically charged substances electrodeposited on the insulating portion.
