Abstract
A nursing garment system to facilitate selective nursing and hands-free breastpumping having at least one connector configured to selectively connect a nursing bra to at least one of a hands-free breastpumping device, a nursing cover, and a breast cup of the system is disclosed. The at least one connector may include a closing device partially attached to each of the at least one of the hands-free breastpumping device, the nursing cover, and the breast cup of the system, the closing device configured to connect to a nursing bra closing device. The system may include a pumping garment having a partial figure 8 edge.
Claims3
A method of using a nursing garment system, the method comprising:
- wearing a nursing bra having bra straps, each bra strap connected to a respective breast cup at a top edge of the respective breast cup by a connector provided on each respective bra strap;
- wherein each respective breast cup covers a respective breast of a wearer;
- disconnecting the connector provided on each bra strap from the top edge of the respective breast cup connected to each bra strap such that each of the breast cups fold downwardly and away from each respective bra strap and each respective breast of the wearer;
- connecting a top edge of a separate hands-free breast pumping device to each bra strap by the connector provided on each respective bra strap;
- fastening a bottom of the hands-free breast pumping device around a torso of the wearer such that the separate hands-free breast pumping device covers the breasts of the wearer and is worn over the nursing bra;
- and
- wherein the separate hands-free breast pumping device has an exterior hole adapted to receive a breastshield.
