Abstract
Provided is a method and a composition for breaking dormancy in deciduous trees.
Claims7
A method for inducing bud break or for inducing and/or improving dormancy release in a deciduous plant, the method comprising:
- providing the deciduous plant in an environment in which the plant receives insufficient chilling or in an environment in which dormancy does not occur in the plant naturally;
- and
- applying a composition consisting of fluazinam and a carrier to at least a part of the plant.
