Abstract
A novel maize variety designated X03N353 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X03N353 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X03N353 through backcrossing or genetic transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are described. Maize variety X03N353, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X03N353 are provided. Methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X03N353 and methods of using maize variety X03N353 are disclosed.
Claims20
A seed of hybrid maize variety X03N353, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH48AR with a second plant of variety PH2T5B, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH48AR and PH2T5B have been deposited under NCMA Accession Number 202004028 and ATCC Accession Number PTA-124415, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X03N353 further comprising a single locus conversion, wherein a plant grown from the seed comprises a trait conferred by the single locus conversion, and wherein the seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH48AR with a second plant of variety PH2T5B, wherein the first plant, the second plant or both further comprise the single locus conversion, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH48AR and PH2T5B have been deposited under NCMA Accession Number 202004028 and ATCC Accession Number PTA-124415, respectively, and wherein a plant grown from the seed comprises the trait and otherwise comprises all of the physiological and morphological characteristics of a plant of the hybrid maize variety X03N353.
A method for producing a hybrid maize variety X03N353 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the method comprising crossing a first plant of variety PH48AR with a second plant of variety PH2T5B, representative seed of the varieties PH48AR and PH2T5B having been deposited NCMA Accession Number 202004028 and ATCC Accession Number PTA-124415, respectively, wherein at least one of the varieties PH48AR and PH2T5B further comprises the locus conversion.
