A novel maize variety designated X13N252 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X13N252 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X13N252 through backcrossing or genetic transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are described. Maize variety X13N252, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X13N252 are provided. Methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X13N252 and methods of using maize variety X13N252 are disclosed.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X13N252, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH47W4 with a second plant of variety PH47SK, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH47W4 and PH47SK have been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-126602 and NCMA Accession Number 202004009, respectively.
An F1 hybrid maize variety X13N252 seed further comprising at least one and fewer than six locus conversions, the seed further comprising the at least one and fewer than six locus conversions being produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH47W4 with a second plant of variety PH47SK, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH47W4 and PH47SK have been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-126602 and NCMA Accession Number 20200400, respectively, wherein the at least one and fewer than six locus conversions has been introduced into at least one of variety PH47W4 and variety PH47SK, and wherein the seed produces a plant expressing the traits conferred by the at least one and fewer than six locus conversions and comprising otherwise all the physiological and morphological characteristics of maize variety X13N252 when grown under the same environmental conditions when evaluated at the 5% significance level.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X13N252 further comprising a single locus conversion, wherein a plant grown from the seed comprises a trait conferred by the single locus conversion, and wherein the seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH47W4 with a second plant of variety PH47SK, wherein the first plant, the second plant or both further comprise the single locus conversion, and wherein representative seed of the varieties PH47W4 and PH47SK have been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-126602 and NCMA Accession Number 202004009, respectively.
