Abstract
A novel maize variety designated X13N205 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X13N205 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X13N205 through backcrossing or genetic transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are described. Maize variety X13N205, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X13N205 are provided. Methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X13N205 and methods of using maize variety X13N205 are disclosed.
Claims20
A seed of hybrid maize variety X13N205, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH2DWW with a second plant of variety PH47SK, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH2DWW and PH47SK have been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-126651 and NCMA Accession Number 202004009, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X13N205 further comprising a single locus conversion, wherein a plant grown from the seed comprises a trait conferred by the single locus conversion, and wherein the seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH2DWW with a second plant of variety PH47SK, wherein the first plant, the second plant or both further comprise the single locus conversion, and wherein representative seed of the varieties PH2DWW and PH47SK have been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-126651 and NCMA Accession Number 202004009, respectively.
A method for producing a hybrid maize variety X13N205 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the method comprising crossing a first plant of variety PH2DWW with a second plant of variety PH47SK, representative seed of the varieties PH2DWW and PH47SK having been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-126651 and NCMA Accession Number 202004009, respectively, wherein at least one of the varieties PH2DWW and PH47SK further comprises the locus conversion.
