## Abstract

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and computer program products for identifying a presence of a plurality of mobile devices at a geographic location; determining an entertainment option to be played at the geographic location based on the identified plurality of mobile devices; and based on the determination, selecting an entertainment option to be played at the geographic location.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method comprising:
identifying, by a network device, presence of a plurality of mobile devices within a geofence at a particular geographic location;
obtaining, by the network device and from the plurality of mobile devices, information corresponding to entertainment options that are available at the plurality of mobile devices;
comparing, by the network device, the obtained information corresponding to the entertainment options available at the plurality of mobile devices, wherein the obtained information from a particular device of the plurality of mobile devices is compared against the entertainment options available at each other device in the plurality of mobile devices;
based on the comparison, determining, by the network device, an entertainment option to be played at the particular geographic location; and
in response to the determination, controlling, by the network device, an entertainment system at the particular geographic location to play the determined entertainment option.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein determining an entertainment option to be played at the particular geographic location comprises one of determining a song that is common among the plurality of mobile devices or determining a song that is popular among the plurality of mobile devices.

The method of claim 2, wherein determining a song that is common among the plurality of mobile devices comprises: identifying a song associated with a number of mobile devices that is greater than a threshold number.

### Claim 4 (depends on 2)

The method of claim 2, wherein determining a song that is popular among the plurality of mobile devices comprises: identifying a song rated above a threshold rating value by users associated with the plurality of mobile devices; and determining that the song has been rated by a number of users that is greater than a threshold percentage of users.

### Claim 5 (depends on 2)

The method of claim 2, wherein determining a song that is popular among the plurality of mobile devices comprises identifying a song that is associated, on a social network, with users corresponding to the plurality of mobile devices.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein determining an entertainment option to be played at the particular geographic location comprises one of determining a movie that is common among the plurality of mobile devices or determining a movie that is popular among the plurality of mobile devices.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The method of claim 6, wherein determining a movie that is popular among the plurality of mobile devices comprises: identifying a movie rated above a threshold rating value by users associated with the plurality of mobile devices; and determining that the movie has been rated by a number of users that is greater than a threshold percentage of users.

### Claim 8 (depends on 6)

The method of claim 6, wherein determining a movie that is popular among the plurality of mobile devices comprises: identifying a movie that is associated, on a social network, with users corresponding to the plurality of mobile devices.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein identifying the presence of the plurality of mobile devices within the geofence at the particular geographic location comprises: sending, by the network device to a group of mobile devices, messages requesting geographic locations of the respective mobile devices; receiving, at the network and from the group of mobile devices, responses that provide the geographic locations of the respective mobile devices; and based on receiving the responses that provide the geographic locations of the respective mobile devices, determining, from the group of mobile devices, the plurality of mobile devices within the geofence at the particular geographic location.

### Claim 10 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein obtaining information corresponding to entertainment options that are available at the plurality of mobile devices comprises obtaining, by the network device, information corresponding to at least one of music playlists or movies associated with the plurality of mobile devices.

### Claim 11

A system comprising:
one or more processors; memory coupled to the one or more processors and configured for storing instructions, which, when executed by the one or more processors, causes the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
identifying, by a network device, presence of a plurality of mobile devices within a geofence at a particular geographic location;
obtaining, by the network device and from the plurality of mobile devices, information corresponding to entertainment options that are available at the plurality of mobile devices;
comparing, by the network device, the obtained information corresponding to the entertainment options available at the plurality of mobile devices, wherein the obtained information from a particular device of the plurality of mobile devices is compared against the entertainment options available at each other device in the plurality of mobile devices;
based on the comparison, determining, by the network device, an entertainment option to be played at the particular geographic location; and
in response to the determination, controlling, by the network device, an entertainment system at the particular geographic location to play the determined entertainment option.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The system of claim 11, wherein determining an entertainment option to be played at the particular geographic location comprises one of determining a song that is common among the plurality of mobile devices or determining a song that is popular among the plurality of mobile devices.
