## Abstract

Disclosed are compounds of general formula (I): and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, formulations, methods and uses in, for example, the treatment of disease.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method of treating a disease selected from the group consisting of: skin cancer or melanoma; a viral disease; a bacterial disease; and a protozoal disease, the method comprising administering to a subject in need thereof the compound of the following formula:
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate, or hydrate thereof.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the administering is oral.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The method of claim 2, wherein the administering is selected from:
(a) about 100 mg of compound, 3 times daily;
(b) about 150 mg of compound, 2 times daily; and
(c) about 200 mg of compound, 2 times daily.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the disease is skin cancer or melanoma.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the disease is a viral disease.

### Claim 6 (depends on 5)

The method of claim 5, wherein the viral disease is selected from the list consisting of: Hepatitis C; HIV; and West Nile Virus.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the disease is a bacterial disease.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the disease is a protozoal disease.

### Claim 9 (depends on 7)
