Eyewear storage device

An eyewear storage device, the device comprising:

• a receptacle, the receptacle comprising a first wall and a second wall that are coupled together to form a cavity having an opening for receiving portions of an eyewear, wherein the first wall and second wall are made from an elastic material;
• a receiver coupled to the receptacle, the receiver comprising a first arm coupled to a second arm, the first arm having a first finger, and the first finger having a first finger gripping surface, the second arm having a base and a base projection that extends perpendicularly away from the base, and the base having a base gripping surface, wherein the first arm is movably coupled to the second arm so that the first finger gripping surface and the base gripping surface are movable towards and away from each other, wherein the receiver comprises a plurality of teeth, and wherein the positioning of the first finger gripping surface relative to the base gripping surface is governed by the positioning of the teeth between a first plate retainer and a second plate retainer;
• and
• a cutout formed into the first wall and second wall of the receptacle, the cutout contiguous with the opening, the cutout configured to prevent the receptacle from covering portions of an electronic device type object while the receiver is attached to the electronic device type object.
