Printed circuit board for integrated LED driver

A module comprising:

• a light emitting diode (LED) driver circuit comprising a switching circuit and a voltage node;
• a multilayer electronics board comprising a first layer electrically coupled to the switching circuit and the voltage node, a second layer including a local shielding area, and one or more dielectric layers;
• and
• a plated via extending from the local shielding area to the voltage node through at least the first layer and a first dielectric layer of the one or more dielectric layers.

A method comprising:

• forming a light emitting diode (LED) driver circuit comprising a switching circuit and a voltage node;
• forming a multilayer electronics board comprising a first layer electrically coupled to the switching circuit and the voltage node, a second layer including a local shielding area, and one or more dielectric layers;
• and
• forming a plated via through at least the first layer and a first dielectric layer of the one or more dielectric layers, the plated via electrically coupling the voltage node and the local shielding area.
