Abstract
Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatus for implementing one or more multi-level slot bundling designs using communications systems operating according to new radio (NR) technologies. For example, a method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) may be provided that includes receiving signaling indicating a multi-level bundling factor for bundling a plurality of time slots in a single assignment, each slot of the plurality of time slots having a downlink control burst (DLCB) and an uplink control burst (ULCB), and communicating using bundled slots according to the multi-level bundling factor as a time domain resource assignment unit.
Claims19
A method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- receiving signaling indicating at least a base station (BS) specific bundling factor, indicating a first bundle size including a plurality of time slots for bundling into a first plurality of bundles, each corresponding to a single time domain resource assignment in which a same transport block is transmitted, and a UE-specific bundling factor indicating a second bundle size including a plurality of the first plurality of bundles for bundling into a second plurality of bundles;
- and
- communicating using the second plurality of bundles comprising transmitting a single transport block in the second plurality of bundles.
A method for wireless communications by a base station (BS), comprising:
- signaling to a user equipment (UE) an indication of at least a BS specific bundling factor, indicating a first bundle size including a plurality of time slots for bundling into a first plurality of bundles as a single time domain resource assignment in which a same transport block is transmitted, and a UE-specific bundling factor indicating a second bundle size including a plurality of the first plurality of bundles for bundling into a second plurality of bundles;
- and
- communicating with the UE using the second plurality of bundles comprising receiving a single transport block in the second plurality of bundles.
An apparatus for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- means for receiving signaling indicating at least a base station (BS) specific bundling factor, indicating a first bundle size including a plurality of time slots for bundling into a first plurality of bundles as a single time domain resource assignment in which a same transport block is transmitted, and a UE-specific bundling factor indicating a second bundle size including a plurality of the first plurality of bundles for bundling into a second plurality of bundles;
- and
- means for communicating using the second plurality of bundles comprising transmitting a single transport block in the second plurality of bundles.
