Transmission apparatus, transmission method, reception apparatus and reception method for transmitting a plurality of types of audio data items

A transmission method, comprising:

• transmitting a container in a predetermined format having a predetermined number of audio streams including coded data items of a plurality of groups;
• inserting attribute information indicating respective attributes of the coded data items of the plurality of groups into a layer of the container or a layer of an audio stream;
• and
• inserting stream correspondence relation information indicating which audio stream includes each of the coded data items of the plurality of groups into the layer of the container or the layer of the audio stream, wherein
• the stream correspondence relation information indicates a correspondence relation between a group identifier for identifying each of the coded data items of the plurality of groups and a stream identifier for identifying each of the predetermined number of audio streams,
• wherein at least one of the predetermined number of audio streams have coded data items in more than one of the plurality of groups.

A reception apparatus, comprising:

• circuitry configured to
• receive a container in a predetermined format having a predetermined number of audio streams including
• coded data items of a plurality of groups, the container including attribute information indicating respective attributes of the coded data items of the plurality of groups, the attribute information being inserted into a layer of the container or a layer of an audio stream, and
• stream correspondence relation information indicating which audio stream includes each of the coded data items of the plurality of groups into the layer of the container or the layer of the audio stream;
• and
• process the predetermined number of audio streams included in the received container based on the attribute information and the stream correspondence relation information, wherein
• the stream correspondence relation information indicates a correspondence relation between a group identifier for identifying each of the coded data items of the plurality of groups and a stream identifier for identifying each of the predetermined number of audio streams,
• wherein at least one of the predetermined number of audio streams have coded data items in more than one of the plurality of groups.

A reception method, comprising:

• receiving a container in a predetermined format having a predetermined number of audio streams including
• coded data items of a plurality of groups, the container including attribute information indicating respective attributes of the coded data items of the plurality of groups being inserted into a layer of the container or a layer of an audio stream, and
• stream correspondence relation information indicating which audio stream includes each of the coded data items of the plurality of groups into the layer of the container or the layer of the audio stream;
• and
• processing the predetermined number of audio streams included in the received container based on the attribute information and the stream correspondence relationship, wherein
• the stream correspondence relation information indicates a correspondence relation between a group identifier for identifying each of the coded data items of the plurality of groups and a stream identifier for identifying each of the predetermined number of audio streams,
• wherein at least one of the predetermined number of audio streams have coded data items in more than one of the plurality of groups.
