Abstract
Techniques for in-place directive execution are described. In one embodiment, an apparatus may comprise a local network component operative to receive a directive package at a messaging client on a client device, the directive package formatted according to a serialized directive schema; and store the directive package in a memory of the client device in the serialized directive schema; and a local database synchronization component operative to execute the directive package using in-place access of the directive package in the memory of the client device. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Claims20
A computer-implemented method, comprising:
- receiving a directive package at a messaging client on a client device, the directive package formatted according to a serialized directive schema;
- storing the directive package in a memory storage space within a memory of the client device in the serialized directive schema;
- and
- executing the directive package using in-place access of the directive package within the memory storage space of the serialized directive schema for the messaging client, and
- wherein any additional memory used in the execution of the directive package is on a memory stack of the client device.
An apparatus, comprising:
- at least one processor operable to execute to stored instructions that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to:
- receive a directive package at a messaging client on a client device, the directive package formatted according to a serialized directive schema;
- store the directive package in a memory storage space within a memory of the client device in the serialized directive schema;
- and
- execute the directive package using in-place access of the directive package within the memory storage space of the serialized directive schema for the messaging client, and
- wherein any additional memory used in the execution of the directive package is on a memory stack of the client device.
At least one non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising instructions that, when executed, cause a system to:
- receive a directive package at a messaging client on a client device, the directive package formatted according to a serialized directive schema;
- store the directive package in a memory storage space within a memory of the client device in the serialized directive schema;
- and
- execute the directive package using in-place access of the directive package within the memory storage space of the serialized directive schema for the messaging client, and
- wherein any additional memory used in the execution of the directive package is on a memory stack of the client device.
