Systems and methods for securing data to an immutable distributed ledger

A system comprising:

• a computing device comprising at least one physical processor;
• and
• physical memory comprising computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the at least one physical processor, cause the computing device to:
• receive a smart contract from a third-party for a designated party and a data set that includes data collected by the designated party from at least one targeted entity, wherein the smart contract includes a rule to check a permission status from the at least one targeted entity to use the collected data;
• transmit, to a network of nodes, a request to add the smart contract and the data set to an immutable distributed ledger;
• receive a digital signature from the third-party;
• receive a digital signature from the designated party;
• validate the smart contract, the digital signature from the third-party, and the digital signature from the designated party, wherein validating the smart contract includes processing the rule;
• and
• in response to validating the smart contract, the digital signature from the third-party and the digital signature from the designated party, add the smart contract and the data set to the immutable distributed ledger.

A computer-readable medium comprising:

• computer-readable instructions that, when executed by at least one processor of a computing device, cause the computing device to:
• receive a smart contract from a third-party for a designated party and a data set that includes data collected by the designated party from at least one targeted entity, wherein the smart contract includes a rule to check a permission status from the at least one targeted entity to use the collected data;
• transmit, to a network of nodes, a request to add the smart contract and the data set to an immutable distributed ledger;
• receive a digital signature from the third-party;
• receive a digital signature from the designated party;
• validate the smart contract, the digital signature from the third-party, and the digital signature from the designated party, wherein validating the smart contract includes processing the rule;
• and
• in response to validating the smart contract, the digital signature from the third-party and the digital signature from the designated party, add the smart contract and the data set to the immutable distributed ledger.
