Abstract
Systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for session authentication. An example method includes determining, by decoding circuitry, a set of optical path lengths to use for measurement. The example method further includes receiving, by the decoding circuitry, a set of time-bin qubits. The example method further includes measuring, by the decoding circuitry and based on the determined set of optical path lengths, the set of time-bin qubits to generate a measured set of time-bin qubits. The example method further includes generating, by session authentication circuitry, a session key based on the measured set of time-bin qubits.
Claims20
A system for session authentication, the system comprising:
- decoding circuitry configured to
- receive a set of time-bin qubits generated based on a first optical path length,
- determine a set of optical path lengths to use for measurement, wherein the determined set of optical path lengths comprises a second optical path length, and
- measure, based on the determined set of optical path lengths, the set of time-bin qubits to generate a measured set of time-bin qubits;
- and
- session authentication circuitry configured to
- generate a session key based on the measured set of time-bin qubits.
A method for session authentication, the method comprising:
- determining, by decoding circuitry, a set of optical path lengths to use for measurement;
- receiving, by the decoding circuitry, a set of time-bin qubits;
- measuring, by the decoding circuitry and based on the determined set of optical path lengths, the set of time-bin qubits to generate a measured set of time-bin qubits;
- and
- generating, by session authentication circuitry, a session key based on the measured set of time-bin qubits.
A computer program product for session authentication, the computer program product comprising at least one non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing program instructions that, when executed, cause an apparatus to:
- determine a set of optical path lengths to use for measurement;
- receive a set of time-bin qubits;
- measure, based on the determined set of optical path lengths, the set of time-bin qubits to generate a measured set of time-bin qubits;
- and
- generate a session key based on the measured set of time-bin qubits.
