Abstract
A data processing system is proposed which comprises two electronic devices, each of them having an electro-magnetic coupler embedded on the exterior casing, at least one of the electronic device having one or more sliding surfaces for directing relative movement between the two devices, such that they automatically come into correct alignment during the sliding.

A data processing system, comprising:
- a first electronic device including:
- a first casing that comprises a depression, wherein the depression has a first side wall and a bottom surface;
- and
- a first data transfer electro-magnetic coupler enclosed by the first casing;
- and
- a second electronic device including:
- a second casing that comprises a protrusion that has a second side wall and a top surface;
- and
- a second data transfer electro-magnetic coupler enclosed by the second casing,
- wherein the first data transfer electro-magnetic coupler and the second data transfer electro-magnetic coupler are configured to perform high speed data communication between the first electronic device and the second electronic device as the protrusion slides along the first side wall of the depression due to a force.

- a casing that comprises a protrusion, wherein the protrusion has a side wall and a top surface;

- a data transfer electro-magnetic coupler enclosed by the casing, wherein
- the first electronic device is configured to connect to a second electronic device, and
- the data transfer electro-magnetic coupler is configured to perform high speed data communication between the first electronic device and the second electronic device as the protrusion slides along a side wall of a depression in the second electronic device due to a magnetic force.
