Abstract
An organic EL device capable of driving at low voltage and having high emission efficiency and long lifetime and a material for organic EL devices which realize such an organic EL device are provided. The material for organic EL devices is a compound represented by formula (A1) or (B1): wherein R1 to R8, n1, m2, k3, k4, n5, m6, L0 to L2, and Ar are as defined in the description.
Claims29
A compound represented by formula (A1-1) or (B1-1):
- wherein R1 to R6 each independently represent a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl group having 5 to 50 ring atoms, a halogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted fluoroalkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted fluoroalkoxy group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted aryloxy group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms;
- when R1 to R6 are each plurality in number, groups R1 to groups R6 are the same or different;
- R5 and R6 are optionally bonded to each other to form a ring structure;
- R7 and R8 each identically represent a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted fluoroalkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, or a cyano group, and R7 and R8 are optionally bonded to each other to form a saturated aliphatic ring;
- k3 and k4 each independently represent an integer of 0 to 5, m2 is 0, m6 is an integer of 0 to 4, n1 is 0 and n5 is an integer of 0 to 3;

- Ar in formula (B1-1) is a group selected from the group consisting of groups (a) to (k) as listed in the following Table:
- wherein R, Ra, and Rb are each independently R1, when more than one R occurs, groups R are the same or different and groups R are not bonded to form a ring;
- Rc represents a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl group having 5 to 50 ring atoms;
- two groups selected from groups R, Ra, and Rb in formula (f) are optionally bonded to each other to form a ring structure;
- each k independently represents an integer of 0 to 5, each m independently represents an integer of 0 to 4, each n independently represents an integer of 0 to 3;
- and
