Wireless devices for storing a financial account card and methods for storing card data in a wireless device

A wireless device for authorizing a purchase transaction, comprising:

• one or more processors;
• a memory device configured to:
• store financial account card data, the financial account card data being associated with a financial account card stored in the wireless device;
• store first identification data identifying a group of parties authorized to use the financial account card, and
• store instructions that are executable by the one or more processors;
• an input device configured to receive second identification data identifying a user;
• and
• a transmitter configured to wirelessly transmit the card data from the device;
• wherein the one or more processors are configured to execute the stored instructions to perform operations comprising:
• comparing, in response to receiving the second identification data from the input device, the second identification data to the first identification data to determine that the user is one of the group of parties authorized to use the financial account card, and
• authorizing, based on the comparison, completion of the transaction when the user is one of the group of parties authorized to use the financial account card, and
• enabling the transmitter to automatically provide the financial account card data in response to receiving a query signal from a point-of-sale-terminal to complete the transaction.
