A method for detecting molecular, comprising:

• providing a sample having a sample surface, wherein the sample surface has analyte molecules thereon;
• providing a carrier comprising a substrate, a middle layer and a metal layer, wherein the middle layer is sandwiched between the substrate and the metal layer, the middle layer comprises a base and a patterned bulge located on a surface of the base and overlapped with the base, the patterned bulge comprises a plurality of strip-shaped bulges intersecting with each other to form a net and define a number of holes, the metal layer is formed on the patterned bulge, and the substrate is a flexible substrate, the substrate and the middle layer are two independent structures;
• placing the carrier on the sample surface so that the metal layer is attached to the sample surface, wherein parts of the analyte molecules are formed on the metal layer;
• and detecting the analyte molecules on the metal layer using a detector.
