Concrete tile and molding material for same

A concrete tile comprising a tile body,

• wherein
• the tile body has an upper face hardened through non-mold shaping, a lower face hardened through mold shaping, and a side surface that comprises a cut end face in at least one side of the tile body,
• the tile body comprises alkali-resistant fibers in an entire thickness in a state such that the alkali-resistant fibers form fiber-containing granular bodies each having a circle equivalent diameter of less than 10 mm at a cut face of the tile which is cut at a randomly chosen position;
• the alkali-resistant fibers comprise at least one member selected from the group consisting of polyvinyl alcohol-based fibers, polyethylene fibers, polypropylene fibers, acrylic fibers, and aramid fibers;
• a flexural strength of a 30 mm×150 mm sized cut piece of the tile body is not less than 6 N/mm2;
• the alkali-resistant fibers have an aspect ratio of from 50 to 1000;
• and
• the tile body is made from a molding material in which the alkali-resistant fibers are present in an amount of from 0.1 to 2% by mass relative to the solid content of the molding material, wherein the molding material further comprises an aggregate, and the aggregate comprises a light-weight aggregate in a proportion of not greater than 10% based on an amount of the aggregate.
