Abstract
Provided herein are methods for miRNA profiling for the diagnosis, prognosis, and management of melanoma and differentiation of melanoma from nevi.
Claims10
A kit for distinguishing melanoma cells from normal cells in a skin lesion sample from a subject comprising primer pairs that can be used for amplifying miRNA in the skin lesion sample, wherein the miRNAs comprise:
- (i) miR-146a;
- (ii) hsa-let-7i;
- (iii) hsa-let-7d;
- (iv) miR-768-5p;
- and (v) U25, wherein at least one primer of each primer pair is detectably labeled.
