Abstract
A power tool includes a tool body, a motor, a handle part, and an elastic member. The tool body extends along the driving axis in the front-rear direction. The motor has a motor shaft. The motor shaft is rotatably supported by the tool body and extends in the front-rear direction. The handle part includes a grip part. The grip part extends in a direction crossing the driving axis. The elastic member is interposed between a rear end portion of the motor shaft and an inner wall surface of the handle part. The elastic member biases the motor shaft and the handle part away from each other in the front-rear direction.
Claims11
A power tool configured to linearly reciprocate a tool accessory along a driving axis extending in a front-rear direction, the power tool comprising:
- a tool body defining an exterior of the power tool and extending along the driving axis in the front-rear direction;
- a motor having a motor shaft, the motor shaft being rotatably supported by the tool body and extending and movable relative to the tool body in the front-rear direction;
- a handle part including a grip part, the grip part extending in a direction crossing the driving axis;
- and
- an elastic member interposed between a rear end portion of the motor shaft and an inner wall surface of the handle part, wherein:
- the elastic member applies a biasing force to the motor shaft and the handle part that biases the motor shaft and the handle part away from each other in the front-rear direction, without the biasing force being transmitted through the tool body to the motor shaft.
A power tool configured to linearly reciprocate a tool accessory along a driving axis extending in a front-rear direction, the power tool comprising:
- a tool body extending along the driving axis in the front-rear direction;
- a motor having a motor shaft, the motor shaft being rotatably supported by the tool body and extending in the front-rear direction;
- a handle part including a grip part, the grip part extending in a direction crossing the driving axis;
- an elastic member interposed between a rear end portion of the motor shaft and an inner wall surface of the handle part;
- a bearing held by a rear end portion of the tool body, the bearing rotatably supporting the rear end portion of the motor shaft;
- and
- an intervening member arranged in contact with a rear end of the bearing and a front end portion of the elastic member, wherein:
- the elastic member biases the motor shaft and the handle part away from each other in the front-rear direction;
- the elastic member biases the motor shaft via the intervening member and the bearing;
- the intervening member is arranged with a clearance from the rear end portion of the tool body in the front-rear direction;
- and
- the intervening member includes an engagement part engaged with the front end portion of the elastic member.
