Abstract
Apparatuses and methods for phase interpolators are provided. An example apparatus comprises a phase interpolator and a controller coupled to the phase interpolator. The controller is configured to provide a digital timing code to the phase interpolator, and the phase interpolator is configured to apply a correction to the received digital timing code based, at least in part, on phase interpolator error correction data from a data structure containing phase interpolator error correction data.
Claims18
An apparatus, comprising:
- a phase interpolator comprising a first digital-to analog converter (DAC) to receive digital timing codes;
- and
- a second DAC to receive digital error correction codes, wherein the phase interpolator is configured to:
- adjust a timing signal based, at least in part, on the received digital timing codes;
- and
- adjust at least one timing code based, at least in part, on the received digital error correction codes.
A method, comprising:
- receiving, by a first digital-to-analog converter (DAC) of a phase interpolator, digital timing codes;
- receiving, by a second DAC of the phase interpolator, digital error correction codes in association with receipt of the timing codes;
- and
- adjusting at least one timing code based, at least in part, on the received digital error correction codes.
A system, comprising:
- a phase interpolator comprising a first digital-to analog converter (DAC) to receive digital timing codes;
- a second DAC to receive digital phase interpolator error correction codes;
- and
- a device under test (DUT) coupled to the phase interpolator, wherein the phase interpolator is configured to apply error correction to the received digital timing code based, at least in part, on the received digital phase interpolator error correction codes.
