An organic electronic material comprising a polymer or oligomer which has a structure branching in three or more directions, has at least one polymerizable substituent, has a number average molecular weight of 3,000 or more, and has a partial structure represented by one of the following formulas (E) and (G):
- wherein A1 and A2 each independently represents a trivalent linking group represented by formula (1), (2), (5), or (6) shown below;
- A3 and A4 each independently represents a tetravalent linking group represented by formula (3), (4), (7), (8), (9), or (10) shown below;
- L1 to L10 each independently represents a divalent linking group;
- Xm represents a divalent linking group;
- n represents an integer of 1 or greater;
- and m represents 1 or an integer from 1 to n;
- with a proviso that if the polymer or oligomer has a partial structure represented by formula (E) and A1 and A2 each independently represents a trivalent linking group represented by formula (1), the polymer or oligomer comprises a structure containing one or more selected from an aromatic amine moiety, a carbazole moiety, and a thiophene moiety,
- wherein each Ar independently represents a divalent linking group, each representing an optionally substituted arylene group or heteroarylene group having 2 to 30 carbon atoms;
- W represents a trivalent linking group obtained by excluding a hydrogen atom from an optionally substituted arylene group or heteroarylene group having 2 to 30 carbon atoms;
- each Y independently represent a divalent linking group;
- and Z represents any one of a carbon atom, a silicon atom and a phosphorus atom.
