Induction heating cooking device

An induction heating cooking device, comprising:

• a cooking counter having a panel of which at least a part is formed of a transparent material, and having a light shielding layer on a surface of the panel, the light shielding layer having an auxiliary slit through which light can pass, the cooking counter configured to have a cooking portion with a cooking container positioned thereon;
• an induction coil below the cooking portion of the cooking counter, configured to generate a magnetic field to inductively heat the cooking container positioned on the cooking portion of the cooking counter, the auxiliary slit being located on a portion of the cooking counter outside a periphery of the cooking portion;
• at least one light source disposed outside the induction coil to emit light;
• an optical member to change a travelling direction of the light emitted from the at least one light source and to concentrate the light;
• and
• a cover having a main slit arranged below the auxiliary slit of the light shielding layer, to pass the concentrated light from the optical member through the auxiliary slit to form at least one image on a side of the cooking container based on the cooking container being positioned on the cooking portion of the cooking counter over the induction coil.
