Abstract
A method, apparatus, and system for managing events. A method receives mobile sensor information from mobile devices operated by human nodes in a location and determines whether the event has occurred at the location in which event management is needed for the event using the mobile sensor information. The method identifies resources needed for the event using the mobile sensor information in response to a determination that the event has occurred and allocates the resources identified to handle the event using the mobile sensor information.

An event management system comprising:
- an event controller in a computer system, wherein the event controller:
- receives mobile sensor information from mobile devices operated by human nodes in a location;
- determines whether an event has occurred at the location in which event management is needed for the event using the mobile sensor information;
- identifies resources needed for the event using the mobile sensor information in response to a determination that the event management is needed for the event;
- and
- allocates the resources identified to handle the event.
A method for managing an event, the method comprising:
- receiving, by a computer system, mobile sensor information from mobile devices operated by human nodes in a location;
- determining, by the computer system, whether the event has occurred at the location in which event management is needed for the event using the mobile sensor information;
- identifying resources needed for the event using the mobile sensor information in response to a determination that the event has occurred;
- and
- allocating, by the computer system, the resources identified to handle the event using the mobile sensor information.
