Abstract
A disclosure of the present specification provides a new PUCCH format for allowing increased UCI HARQ-ACK; including CSI to be transmitted in an environment in which an enhanced carrier aggregation technology is used so that cells, the number of which exceeds five and is a maximum of X e.g., 32, can be aggregated.
Claims20
A method for performing uplink transmission, the method performed by a wireless communication device and comprising:
- receiving Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) configuration information for each of at least one PUCCH resource, wherein the PUCCH configuration information indicates whether frequency hopping is enabled or disabled for each PUCCH resource, wherein each PUCCH resource is associated with a respective one of a plurality of PUCCH formats, and wherein each PUCCH resource is associated with a respective PUCCH resource index;
- determining, for a PUCCH resource among the at least one PUCCH resource, whether frequency hopping is enabled or disabled for the PUCCH resource, based on the PUCCH configuration information for the PUCCH resource;
- based on frequency hopping being enabled for the PUCCH resource, transmitting a PUCCH signal on the PUCCH resource with frequency hopping;
- and
- based on frequency hopping being disabled for the PUCCH resource, transmitting the PUCCH signal on the PUCCH resource without frequency hopping.

A wireless communication device configured to perform uplink transmission, the wireless communication device comprising:
- at least one transceiver;
- at least one processor;
- and
- at least one computer memory operably connected to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, based on being executed by the at least one processor, perform operations comprising:
- receiving, via the at least one transceiver, Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) configuration information for each of at least one PUCCH resource, wherein the PUCCH configuration information indicates whether frequency hopping is enabled or disabled for each PUCCH resource, wherein each PUCCH resource is associated with a respective one of a plurality of PUCCH formats, and wherein each PUCCH resource is associated with a respective PUCCH resource index;
- determining, for a PUCCH resource among the at least one PUCCH resource, whether frequency hopping is enabled or disabled for the PUCCH resource, based on the PUCCH configuration information for the PUCCH resource;
- based on frequency hopping being enabled for the PUCCH resource, transmitting a PUCCH signal on the PUCCH resource with frequency hopping, via the at least one transceiver;
- and
- based on frequency hopping being disabled for the PUCCH resource, transmitting the PUCCH signal on the PUCCH resource without frequency hopping, via the at least one transceiver.
