Determining broadcast multicast service configuration parameters in a wireless network

A base station comprising:

• one or more processors;
• memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the base station to:
• receive configuration parameters employed by a second base station for at least one broadcast multicast service, the configuration parameters comprising:
• a first discontinuous reception inactivity timer value;
• and
• a first scheduling period start offset;
• determine, based on the configuration parameters, a second discontinuous reception inactivity timer value and a second scheduling period start offset;
• and
• transmit, to at least one wireless device, first transport blocks for the at least one broadcast multicast service based on the second discontinuous reception inactivity timer value and the second scheduling period start offset.

A system comprising:

• a wireless device comprising:
• one or more first processors;
• first memory storing first instructions that, when executed by the one or more first processors, cause the wireless device to transmit configuration parameters employed by a second base station for at least one broadcast multicast service, the configuration parameters comprising:
• a first discontinuous reception inactivity timer value;
• and
• a first scheduling period start offset;
• and
• a base station comprising:
• one or more second processors;
• memory storing second instructions that, when executed by the one or more second processors, cause the base station to:
• receive the configuration parameters;
• determine, based on the configuration parameters, a second discontinuous reception inactivity timer value and a second scheduling period start offset;
• and
• transmit, to at least one wireless device, first transport blocks for the at least one broadcast multicast service based on the second discontinuous reception inactivity timer value and the second scheduling period start offset.
