Message correction and dynamic correction adjustment for communication systems

A method of receiving communications with dynamic data correction, the method comprising:

• receiving, via a transceiver of a receiving device, a data packet from one of at least one sending device, the data packet including:
• a header;
• and
• a data payload, the data payload including one or more message blocks and corresponding first iteration redundancy blocks;
• reading in the one or more message blocks;
• recognizing, via pre-configuration of the receiving device, that there are redundancy blocks to receive along with the one or more message blocks and reading in the corresponding first iteration redundancy blocks;
• determining that at least one of the one or more received message blocks is defective;
• and
• processing one or more of the received first iteration redundancy blocks to correct the one or more defective message blocks.

At least one non-transitory computer-readable medium having computer program logic stored thereon, the computer program logic including instructions that, when executed by a processor of a receiving device, cause the processor to:

• receive, via a transceiver of a receiving device, a data packet from one of at least one sending device, the data packet including:
• a header;
• and
• a data payload, the data payload including one or more message blocks and corresponding first iteration redundancy blocks;
• read in the one or more message blocks;
• recognize, via pre-configuration of the receiving device, that there are redundancy blocks to receive along with the one or more message blocks and read in the corresponding first iteration redundancy blocks;
• determine that at least one of the one or more received message blocks is defective;
• process one or more of the received first iteration redundancy blocks to correct the one or more defective message blocks;
• and
• send a response message to the sending device.
