Abstract
A method, system, and computer program product for obtaining a candidate event sequence that includes at least one event for achieving a goal, obtaining a reference event sequence, the candidate event sequence comprising at least one event that is not comprised in the reference event sequence, comparing an effectiveness of the candidate event sequence on the goal and an effectiveness of the reference event sequence on the goal, and identifying the candidate event sequence as an effective sequence for achieving the goal in response to the effectiveness of the candidate event sequence being better than the effectiveness of the reference event sequence.
Claims18
A computer-implemented method, comprising:
- obtaining a candidate event sequence that comprises at least one event for achieving a goal;
- obtaining a reference event sequence that sequentially performs a chronological order of the reference event sequence;
- comparing an effectiveness of the candidate event sequence on the goal and an effectiveness of the reference event sequence on the goal;
- and
- identifying the candidate event sequence as an effective sequence for achieving the goal in response to the effectiveness of the candidate event sequence being better than the effectiveness of the reference event sequence,
- wherein the candidate event sequence comprises at least one event that is not comprised in the reference event sequence, and
- wherein the comparing an effectiveness of the candidate event sequence on the goal and an effectiveness of the reference event sequence en the goal comprises:
- determining a candidate group of candidate samples on which the event comprised in the candidate event sequence is executed;
- determining a reference group of reference samples on which the event comprised in the reference event sequence is executed;
- and
- comparing the effectiveness that is determined from the candidate group and the reference effectiveness that is determined from the reference group.
A computing system comprising a computer processor coupled to a computer-readable memory unit, the memory unit comprising instructions that when executed by the computer processor implements a method comprising:
- obtaining a candidate event sequence that comprises at least one event for achieving a goal;
- obtaining a reference event sequence that sequentially performs a chronological order of the reference event sequence;
- comparing an effectiveness of the candidate event sequence on the goal and an effectiveness of the reference event sequence on the goal;
- and
- identifying the candidate event sequence as an effective sequence for achieving the goal in response to the candidate effectiveness of the event sequence being better than the effectiveness of the reference event sequence,
- wherein the candidate event sequence comprises at least one event that is not comprised in the reference event sequence, and
- wherein the comparing an effectiveness of the candidate event sequence on the goal and an effectiveness of the reference event sequence on the goal comprises:
- determining a candidate group of candidate samples on which the event comprised in the candidate event sequence is executed;
- determining a reference group of reference samples on which the event comprised in the reference event sequence is executed;
- and
- comparing the effectiveness that is determined from the candidate group and the reference effectiveness that is determined from the reference group.
A computer program product being tangibly stored on a non-transient machine-readable medium and comprising machine-executable instructions, the instructions, when executed on an electronic device, causing the electronic device to:
- obtain a candidate event sequence that comprises at least one event that is executed for achieving a goal;
- obtain a reference event sequence that sequentially performs a chronological order of the reference event sequence;
- compare an effectiveness of the candidate event sequence on the goal and an effectiveness of the reference event sequence on the goal;
- and
- identify the candidate event sequence as an effective sequence for achieving the goal in response to the effectiveness of the candidate event sequence being better than the effectiveness of the reference event sequence,
- wherein the candidate event sequence comprises at least one event that is not comprised in the reference event sequence, and
- wherein the comparing an effectiveness of the candidate event sequence on the goal and an effectiveness of the reference event sequence on the goal comprises:
- determining a candidate group of candidate samples on which the event comprised in the candidate event sequence is executed;
- determining a reference group of reference samples on which the event comprised in the reference event sequence is executed;
- and
- comparing the effectiveness that is determined from the candidate group and the reference effectiveness that is determined from the reference group.
