Abstract
A method for forming a multilayer composite structure comprises providing a first sheet comprising a copper-comprising layer sandwiched by first and second graphene layers, wrapping the first sheet to form a first rod, and compacting the first rod to form a first multilayer composite structure.
Claims16
A method for forming a multilayer composite structure, comprising:
- providing a first sheet comprising a copper-comprising layer sandwiched by first and second graphene layers;
- wrapping the first sheet to form a first rod;
- compacting the first rod using rolling, such that the first rod is flattened into a thin foil, thus forming a first multilayer composite structure;
- forming a second sheet, wherein forming the second sheet comprises:
- depositing a third graphene layer on a first surface side of the first multilayer composite structure, and
- depositing a fourth graphene layer on a second surface side of the first multilayer composite structure, wherein the second surface side is opposite from the first surface side;
- wrapping the second sheet to form a second rod;
- and
- compacting the second rod to form a second multilayer composite structure.
