Abstract
The invention provides a recombinant polypeptide comprising the EDIII domain of each of Dengue virus serotype DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3, and DENV-4 linked to the N-terminal of HBsAg.
Claims5
A tetravalent dengue vaccine comprising a virus like particle (VLP) comprising:
- a. a recombinant polypeptide comprising an ED III domain of each of Dengue virus serotypes DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3, and DENV-4, linked to an N-terminal of an HBsAg polypeptide, as depicted below:
- EDIII- 1---EDIII-3---EDIII-4---EDIII-2---HBsAg;
- wherein the dashed dashed line is a linker;
- and
- wherein the amino acid sequence of the ED III domains of each of Dengue virus serotypes DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3, and DENV-4 is SEQ ID NO's 1, 2, 3 and 4,
- respectively;
- and
- b. 4 units of an HBsAg polypeptide.
