Abstract
Provided is a glass for radiation detection having high fluorescence detection sensitivity and high weather resistance. A glass for radiation detection, comprising, in mol %, 0.1 to 30% of SiO2+B2O3, 0 to 20% of SiO2, 0 to 10% of B2O3, 40 to 70% of P2O5, 10 to 30% of Al2O3, 10 to 30% of Na2O, and 0.01 to 2% of Ag2O.

A glass for radiation detection, comprising, in mol %, 0.1 to 30% of SiO2+B2O3, 0 to 20% of SiO2, 0 to 10% of B2O3, 40 to 70% of P2O5, 10 to 30% of Al2O3, 10 to 30% of Na2O, and 0.01 to 2% of Ag2O, wherein
- P2O5/(B2O3+Al2O3) expressed in molar ratio is less than or equal to 3.7.
