Adhesive tapes include a plasticized polyvinyl chloride backing, a primer including an ethylene/carbon monoxide-containing terpolymer, and an adhesive.
Claims13
An adhesive tape comprising:
- a backing comprising a plasticized polyvinyl chloride;
- a primer layer disposed on at least one major surface of the backing, wherein the primer comprises an ethylene/carbon monoxide-containing terpolymer and a second ethylene-containing copolymer or terpolymer comprising one or two comonomers having a polarity greater than that of ethylene;
- and
- an adhesive layer disposed on the primer layer.
