Abstract
A method for transmitting a sidelink discovery signal in a wireless communication system, the method is performed by a user equipment (UE) and includes: determining a transmit power for the sidelink discovery signal, and transmitting the sidelink discovery signal with the transmit power, wherein the transmit power is determined based on discMaxTxPower, and wherein the discMaxTxPower informs a parameter used to calculate a maximum transmit power of the UE configured with a concerned range class.

A method for transmitting a sidelink discovery signal in a wireless communication system, the method is performed by a user equipment (UE) and comprising:
- setting a transmit power for the sidelink discovery signal;
- and
- transmitting the sidelink discovery signal with the transmit power,
- wherein the transmit power is determined based on discMaxTxPower, and
- wherein based on the UE being configured with a range class, the discMaxTxPower informs a parameter used to calculate a maximum transmit power of the UE configured with the range class.
A user equipment (UE) comprising:
- a transceiver configured to transmit and receive a radio signal;
- and
- a processor operatively coupled to the transceiver,
- wherein the processor is configured to:
- set a transmit power for a sidelink discovery signal, and
- transmit the sidelink discovery signal with the transmit power,
- wherein the transmit power is determined based on discMaxTxPower, and
- wherein based on the UE being configured with a range class, the discMaxTxPower informs a parameter used to calculate a maximum transmit power of the UE configured with the range class.
