Abstract
An electronic device includes: a communication unit that performs communication with an external device; and a control unit that issues a command to the external device via the communication unit, on the basis of at least one of capacity of the external device, and capacity of the electronic device.
Claims6
An electronic device comprising:
- an image sensor that captures an image;
- an operation unit comprising circuitry that receives an input of an operation instruction;
- a communication unit comprising a circuit that communicates with an external device having an image capture instruction unit that transmits an image capture instruction to the image sensor;
- and
- a control unit comprising a processor that (i) transmits to the external device, via the communication unit, a signal indicating that an operation is being performed when the operation unit receives the input of the operation instruction, and (ii) performs imaging by the image sensor, when the operation is finished, if the image capture instruction is in the image capture instruction unit.
