Abstract
A switch device includes an operation switch including a switch knob formed integrally with a recess configured to allow a finger to be inserted. The operation switch includes a detector configured to detect a change in a physical amount caused by operation of the switch knob.

A switch device comprising an operation switch comprising a switch knob formed integrally with a curved recess configured to allow a finger to be inserted,
- wherein the operation switch comprises a detector configured to detect a change in a physical amount caused by operation of the switch knob,
- wherein the detector comprises a touch sensor configured to detect contact between the switch knob and the finger, and
- wherein an end of the switch knob includes the curved recess for receiving the finger to perform a pulling-up operation or a pushing-down operation of the switch knob in a vehicle up-down direction.
